Benchmarks in the Custom Home Process

We will begin making arrangements with the title company approximately 30 days before closing.  We will ask them to contact you personally.  In your sales contract we will designate a title company for both sides of your closing.  While you are responsible for arranging your financing, please feel free to give our name and number to your prospective lenders and their agents (e.g. appraiser, inspectors, etc.) so that we may assist you in this process.  If you will also be selling your current home, it is a good idea to try to schedule both closings at the same place if they are on the same day.  That way, you do not have to be in three places at one time.  Quite often, it is a good idea for you to plan ahead and pre-sign your closing documents.
