Mary works directly with the clients and subcontractors, focusing on design, budgeting and coordination of the construction of the home. Mary grew up in St. Louis City and currently resides with her daughter in Kirkwood. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from St. Louis University. She is a CPA, and active member of the St. Louis Home Builders Association (HBA) where she serves on the Custom Home Council. She is also a member of the NAHBA. Mary is a Missouri Licensed Real Estate Salesperson and Member of the St. Louis Association of Realtors.

Mark focuses on land acquisition and development, site supervision and quality control. He grew up in Kirkwood and began his career in the auto/mechanical repair industry at Rasch Service Station, which is still owned and operated by his family. Mark currently resides with his wife Laura and their two children in Des Peres. Laura is a Manager with the HBA (Home Builders Association), where she has worked for over 20 years. Mark is a member of the NAHB, an active member of the St. Louis HBA and is currently serving on the HBA Custom Home Council. He also serves on the HBA Green Building Council so that he can keep current on building energy efficient and environmentally friendly homes. Mark is a Missouri Licensed Real Estate Salesperson and Member of the Missouri Association of Realtors.

Meet Mary Bendel, Mark Rasch and Team. Mary & Mark established BenchMark Developers in July, 1998 as a joint venture between Cachet Homes and Benchmark Custom Homes. Both Cachet Homes and Benchmark Custom Homes are members of the St. Louis Homebuilders Association (HBA).

Jim Hulsey Senior Construction Manager	Jim has been with Benchmark and Cachet since 2000, but was on our job sites as a carpenter for years before joining the team. His extensive construction and carpentry experience provide a strong foundation for communicating with the subcontractors and knowing what it takes to build a quality home. Jim grew up in Franklin County and currently resides with his wife Kristy and their 4 children in Union. He graduated from Union High School and Washington Vocational School and has worked in construction his entire life. He started working for his father as soon as he was big enough to swing a hammer. After 8 years with Hulsey Const. and Mueller & Sons, he moved to LJS Const., where he worked as a trim carpenter and foreman for 8 years.


	Jennifer joined the Benchmark and Cachet team in 2002 as an administrative assistant in Mary's office. Jen is primarily responsible for our accounting and assists Mary in coordinating customer selections and orders. She also expresses her creative side through our marketing materials and website. Jen grew up in the St. Louis area and currently resides with her daughter in Maplewood. Her diverse background of accounting, meeting planning, office interior design and art bring another skill set to the team.	Jennifer Jordan Administrative Assistant
